With this post, I hereby declare the first Runic Games Fansite to be open! This will hopefully become the place you come to for all your Runic Games news, as well as a place for all of us former Mythos players to regroup and reform our awesome community.

I am starting this site because I felt a powerful need to give something back to the people at Runic Games, formerly the Flagship Studios team working on Mythos. Not only did I have one of the best game experiences I have had since Diablo II, but I was moved by the way the devs actually worked with their community for opinions, ideas, and even just to have a good time with us. Not only that, but it never cost me a cent. Once I heard that their team was reforming, I knew I should do something to help the former Mythos community to come back together, as well as give support to the dev team that (happily) stole hours and hours from our (happy) lives. I have such faith that they will make a new, even greater game, that I am making this site before we even know what it is.

For now, there isn’t much to the site. The news feed will be here, and I will keep it as simple as possible so that as many people can view it as possible. On the menu you will find the forums, with message boards prepared for you to talk about Runic Games, Mythos, Hellgate, The Diablo series, FATE, and more. There is even a place for former Mythos guilds to regroup and get in contact with their former guildmates. Don’t take my word for it, go register for the forums here!

The site will grow over time, with polls and articles and other things appearing as the need arises. I will keep ads to a minimum, and try to keep them small. Basically, just a google ads spot and a Lunarpages (the web host) ad for now.
