Thanks Webb! Thanks Kreisher! It's nice if this will be automatic, but I'm not averse to doing it manually. For me anyway this is one thing that will put me more at ease. Hmm, heading the same direction as the Steam client then? Okay but I hope you keep the weight down :P Also, assuming what modders can do inside the client is going to be limited, maybe you can retain these forums as the "community place" where freer interaction can take place, and then just link to that stuff from within the client... just a thought...

Phanjam We are currently working on a system that will allow you to "Link" your RGF account to your ModDrop account so that you'll have access to all your mods in the client. We expect this feature to launch this later this week. As for the comment threads, we plan to copy everything over at some point and allow everyone to continue the conversation in the client. That feature is still several weeks out though. We also plan to add a review system and image / video gallery for mods at some point.

I'm certain that Kreisher or the technician (whose username I don't remember can help you with that process. Send him a PM with your details for now! As for the comments threads, I think it's still working on the site side of things, so you can always post here. I believe the TL1 mods should still be linked with their original threads, and the old links all redirect to the new locations now.

Hi Mr. K! Like I was telling Webb the client handles mod browsing and downloading/installing very well; it's very slick in that regard. Tried uploading then info-editing one of my mods earlier and that was smooth too; well done! Some early ideas/questions... - Is there a way to "claim" your mod, if it was batch-uploaded during the initial seeding of your dbase? - will you link with, or somehow continue, the "Mod Comments Thread" feature RGF is/was using (where users could post about the mod and authors could answer)? Thanks again!

For anyone who's tried the "Download with ModDrop" features (on the mod download page), what are your thoughts?

Hey thanks Kreisher! But the new forums don't seem to accept new threads yet (at least not from me anyways :p )

Good idea Phanjam. Just added a forum for ModDrop with subforums for Features Requests, Bug Reports, General Discussion and Modder Tools.

Hi Kreisher! Added you in ModDrop... do you have any other fora for more transparent/structured discussions?

Hey all, Kreisher here from ModDrop. We’re really excited to join the RGF community! We hope you like all the changes we’ve made so far and look forward to adding even more mod related features soon. To all the mod developers out there, we want to invite you to join us in making ModDrop even better. We’d like to know what publishing features you’d most like to see and what Torchlight related tools would make your life easier. Feel free to PM me here on RGF, or add me on ModDrop (user name : Kreisher).

It'll be gradual small changes for a while, I think, until the big stuff later on. We almost switched to a new theme, but decided against it because vbulletin themes all look the same... except this one ;)

Welcome to the other side, faithful viewers! As you can see, there have been some changes around these parts, both cosmetic and functional! Some of these changes I'd been hoping to make for a long time now (years, in fact!). The biggest change, however, probably should be told straight off the bat: Announcement: I sold out! Seriously though, for several years now we've been barely hanging in there, with fundraisers and donations and an ever dwindling supply of advertising money, and after the hassle of shipping things for the last one I was debating on whether or not to shut the site down. The an old acquaintance of mine got in contact with me, with a proposition. He has a company that develops software related to gaming and mods, and...
