Below all of those links (which will be updated as necessary) will be my general outline of some of the biggest points from the event. If you don't want to read all of the massive amounts of text you can stick to my outline for all the main points. Here goes!
DISCLAIMER: All content is not to be considered finalized or necessarily representative of the final game! Many things are still in transition and it is obvious there is still a fair amount of artwork that is transitional (like for skill icons)!
SECOND DISLAIMER: With only two specific exceptions, we were not allowed to share any video or photos from the visit. The exceptions are the office tour video and the picture of the new Journal so that you can see all of the statistics available to you. This means there are MANY walls of text!

Webbstre's Very General Outline:
- Release: As you saw yesterday, the game's release was delayed until next year. This wasn't to add huge new features or revamp things, it's just the time they need to complete and polish the game.
- Polish: When this game is done, it's going to be around (or at least near to) the quality level of polish that games like Diablo 3 and Skyrim are getting. It won't be as big, because there aren't hundreds of people working on it, but it's already more than 3 times the size of Torchlight 1 and is above and beyond the quality level of its predecessor.
- Beta: There will be a beta. It will likely have several hundred people invited to join it. It will only contain the assets for part of the game, so no one can crack it and pirate the entire game before it even gets released. The purpose will be to test balance, multiplayer stuff, and the usual bug fixing.
- Pets: There are many new pets, with the original Cat and Dog possibly available via fish transformations. The pets in Torchlight 2 are the Ferret, Chakawary, Bulldog, Panther, and a Hawk, with a possible second kind of wolf (I got conflicting reports on this matter). The new dogs and Panther do not appear to be reskins of the pets from Torchlight 1.
- Enchanting: Enchanting has been completely revamped. You find Enchanters in the wild or in town, with the common ones being able to enchant your item just a couple of times. You can only remove these enchantments by paying to have them removed. In the wild there are very rare random Enchanters who may be able to give your items further enchantments, or enchant them with specific powerful enchantments for their specialization. It will not be easy or cheap to enchant a perfect item this time.
- Gems: We need further clarification on this, but you can no longer transmute gems, because there are no longer gem tiers in the game. This is to prevent hording and then never using the gems. There are now many more types of gems, and it one of our reporters said he found multiple gems of the same type, but with different stats (for example, two fire damage gems, with one doing more damage than the other). This mostly implies that the system probably isn't finalized yet.
- Private Servers: Officially Runic-owned secure servers? No. Will there be player-run private servers? Possibly, but the answer on this is still that it will either come after release in a patch, or in a possible expansion of some sort (this is NOT confirmation of an expansion, just hypothetical). Max and Travis really want to do it, so hopefully they can.
