      Problem with multiple Class Mods

When I try to install multiple class mods (Right now I have Enchantress, Necromancer and Paladin), one will always work perfectly while the others will have armor errors all over the place. these are things like floating, mangled armor or armor that does not have the right texture. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a fix?

Re: Problem with multiple Class Mods

Two things are likely happening there:

1- The class mods have some item conflicts that cause the classes loading with a lower mod priority to glitch. This requires manual fixing of the files to not conflict with each other.

      OR

2- You've got some other heavy file mods installed (item tiers and texture packs are the usual candidates) that are causing some of the classes not to load all their files. This is a problem inherent in Torchlight and the easiest way to handle it is to remove something with a large number of files.

I'm pretty sure it's the first one. How do I go about fixing this?

Re: Problem with multiple Class Mods

You basically have to manually mesh them together. There's a guide somewhere around here on how to do it, I think, as well as a tool that might help. One of the modders will have to help on the details there.

Re: Problem with multiple Class Mods

hey maddenfong, you're experiencing the "funky armor" bug which, unfortunately, is unavoidable when you've got multiple custom class mods installed.

There's a fix which you can read about here.
