Torchlight Act II to be revealed at PAX

Wonder Russell, the famous Minister of Culture at Runic Games, sent out an e-mail to the press list today asking for people to sign up for interview slots. Within that e-mail was contained a teaser at what we can expect at PAX this year:

-A whole new wooooorrllld (don't you dare close your eyes!) We'll be rolling out the first ever look at our Act II zone, a brand new environment very different from anything you've seen yet....

Dev team, new features, new classes, new spells, new lands, and the last hands-on before launch. Oooo!

So far we've only seen previews of Act 1, despite having seen multiple tilesets already. We have been told what to expect in the past, as is referenced by our Overworld wiki article, which lists the following:
    • Estherian Steppes (mountain area) - According to an interview in PC Gamer the first area of the game will be a "lush, mountainous region". This is the area where the Beorn appear, an area with crumbling rock walls and grassy cliffs, somewhat inspired by Tibet. (Act 1)
    • This area probably also includes the ice-covered mountain dungeon seen in concept art. The Estherian Enclave is the central town.
    • Mana Wastes (desert wasteland) - Revealed in concept artwork exclusive first look at PCGamer.
    • A "sick, spooky forest/battlefield" zone, which may also include swamp areas.
    • There is a possibility of a fourth and final zone described as "completely exotic." However, Runic is not certain it will make it into the final game.
Keep in mind some of these quotes are pretty old, but it will be interesting to see if these zones make it into the final game, and what will be previewed next. Could this be waiting for us, just weeks away?
