Re: How to display all custom classes on the character selection screen

    hey phanjam,

ive been messing with mods recently but dont know alot about them. i read your post and tried it on my computer with these mods:
    [CLASS] Vindicator
    [CLASS] Spiritseer
    [CLASS] Stone brother
    [CLASS] Lady Knight

i made the nested folders, modified the charactercreate file, and put the whole thing in my TL mods folder, but the only classes that show up in the create character screen are the 3 default classes, the vindicator, and the stormrider (part of the vindicator i think but that one wont work for some reason).

    am i doin something wrong?

im using torchleech right now, and i changed the priority of my nested folders to 0 and then put the class mods in the next few priority spots, but i cant get it to work.

    please help!

The easy answer would be to just install them all with HotSpot, and have it make the menu for you.

Hi Mandrewski! I actually agree with Webb that the first thing you should try is to have Hotspot install the mods for you, since it'll automate a lot of the stuff we used to have to do manually.

The mix of class mods you mentioned look like they'll play nice with Hotspot (that's just me - Webb, how should users validate their mods are HS-compatible?).

If after trying Hotspot problems still persist, then we can roll-up our sleeves and start dissecting!

Well I'm using torchleech right now. So hotspot would work with multiple class mods better? Does it still work to have hotspot manage the class mods and torchleech manage the rest or would that make problems also?

yeah 'm afraid it's an "either/or" choice between Hotspot and TorchLeech. But Hotpsot IS an improvement over TorchLeech

Re: How to display all custom classes on the character selection screen

Torchleech can't install things anymore, and we've almost got all the features from Torchleech caught up in HotSpot, so there's really going to be no reason to use Torchleech. If something doesn't work, send in a report so we can look at if there is a problem with the mod.
