    Destructable Environments

I was playing through Act V in Diablo 2 again yesterday, and I remembered why I like it so much, despite the fact that it's much easier.

There's a section in that zone with guard towers, doors, and barricades that you need to destroy. Blowing up a tower and killing the guy on top, or blowing a hole in the side of the building with a fireball and raiding the building is just a cool feeling. Doesn't need to be on the level of Diablo 3, but being able to break down walls and doors would be a welcome feature in the new game.

I liked that area too, especially as a ranged creature, because it gave me a way to attack and be tactical without having to get mass mobbed by melee monsters.

yeah, I just finished that a couple of days a go with a tankazon, it was awesome hiting the doors with a spear and actually seeing the door splinter and buckle with each hit

mythos did it with barrels and crates, how much harder could it be with doors, houses, walls, trees ?

Well... Mythos had a hard time getting their doors solid.
Standing at one side of a closed door and shooting randomly on the other side killing a whole bunch of mobs was quite intresting. Yet really annoying when it was a bunch of mobs that fired at you instead.

Finished actV also a couple of days ago but with a hammerdin, did not like those doors with him. Then again maybe it was stupid of me to try and hit them with the hammer... >>
Anyway, besides that, I do enjoy the place and I think it would be cool if the NRGG gets something like that implemented.
