New File Added: Raw Media Folder Files

Downloads: A new file has been added by Webbstre:

    Raw Media Folder Files

At the request of a Mac user, I have used TorchED to uncompress all of the games initial .adm files into .dat files, and removed all of the Windows-based .adm files. This should contain any and every file that would be needed to make a mod for Torchlight 1.

If there are any questions, please ask in the thread for this file.

You said we can make a mod using the files for Torchlight, how do we do that?
I'm using a Mac, so do I just open the .dat files somehow and edit them?

Hi Warhawk. Maybe you should start by familiarizing yourself with the various kinds of mods that can be made, by browsing the "guides" section. Most of the mods you could possibly make are variations of the projects you'll see in that section.

For 90% of things you can just open the dat files in a text editor and change them, then copy the edited files into their appropriate directory in your mods folder. For Macs though you may find that some things require hacking the Pak.zip file to get around a few limitations in the port.
