    New File Added: Lightning Demon

    Downloads: A new file has been added by SixshotOverdrive:

    Lightning Demon

    Adds a new monster, the Ta'Ulra Lightning Demon to the cave levels. Complete with it's own mesh and animation set.

    This is only the first draft, so there's not a lot of variance and it's probably a bit imbalanced right now.

    Lightning Demon has been updated!

    -Spawn rate has been increased.

    -Nova Skill now correctly targets only the player & his minions.
    -Decreased the damage and chance to cast.

    -Tweaked the animations and linked the bind skeleton.

    -Skin adjustments

    Hey Phanjam, thanks for trying this out
    Let me know if you've got any suggestions/issues/feedback in general

    My versions already looking pretty mutant to the one on here though. Along with the minor tweaks and balances, I've polished up that skill spacepirate was helping me with, set it so they can spawn as champions and I'm filling out the animations for a melee version.

    Hey Croissant, thanks for trying this out. I hope you find it to your liking

    Lightning Demon v1.2 has been updated!

    Basically what was in my last post.
    The caster unit has a new skill, Demon Ball. (Thanks to Spacepirate for helping out)
    There's a polearm wielding unit, the Ta'Ulra Spinesplitter.
    Both of which now have champion forms.

    As for balancing:
    The Alc and Vanq usually did pretty well against them, though I was forced into kiting more than I'd like to. The Destro, however, tended to get a bit stomped. This was mainly because even when he closed in on them, they would still throw lightning bolts directly into his face. I've reduced the skills damage, and put on a min-range on so that they're forced to attack in close combat. (They can still cast the nova however)

    It's worth noting that this is all skewed to my play-style, it might be over/underpowered with builds I didn't think to try. Feedback is always welcome.

    Sorry for the late reply. I was testing your mod and the LD's did not show up at all. They are supposed to appear in the cavefloor maps, i played through those 3 (had to start a new character that's why it took me so long) and even some treasure map cavefloor levels and not one LD here. Atm I added them to my personal mod in a different way (made them quest goals) and I hope to see them soon. I will report back then with (hopefully) more info and feedback. From a quick glance at the files I'd say their spawning probability is too loow, but I have to recheck and compare them, haven't been modding lately and already forgot some things...

    Actually spacepirate had the same issue with the first version, which is what prompted the initial spawn rate increase. If they're still not showing up it's probably a setup issue. I was sure I got them spawning in TorchED though :/

    Anyway, here's some new spawnclasses that replace the existing ones instead of trying to append to them.
