Search Tips

Several methods are available for finding content. Each can be found under the Browse Content menu. Here is a basic explanation of each method:

- - - Top Rated Content - - -
This menu provides numerous links to the top rated content, divided between "This Week," "This Month," and "All Time." Clicking on either of these will list all content on the site in order of rating within the time frame listed. Each category also has sub-menus for individual content types (Blogs, Books, Files, Pages, and Projects) that lists the top rated of that type within the time frame.

This system only works if people vote on what they like. If you like something, give it a point!

- - - Recent Content - - -
Recent Content, and the Recent Content for each content type, lists content in the order that it was created. These lists update every few minutes.

- - - Glossary - - -
The Glossary is an alphabetized list of all content on the site ever created.

- - - Search (and Advanced Search) - - -
The Search option takes you to the same place the search box on the menu bar does. This is where you can search for content by Tag words, descriptions, and Content Types. Using these categories will help you find the kind of mod you may be searching for.

Again, Search only works if you Tag your content and write descriptions! If you leave nothing but a title, chances are people may never find your mods!
