Background
In Descending Legacy, you play as an old worn out hero that lost his
wife in a battle with an Evil Spirit threatening a small town.
Devestated by her death you rushed to her and carried her far from the
town to keep her soul away from the spirit, leaving the town to fend
for themselves. The town was consumed by the evil, because of that day
you retired and lived the rest of your life in seclusion with your
son. Your 12 year old son, devestated by the death of his mother
trained hard so that one day he can exact his revenge on the spirit
that killed her. Little did he know that day was coming soon.
Ten years later, a request was made by a small town near the forest,
which you reside, to a guard post nearby for soldiers to help fight off
a spirit that fed off of the souls of the townsmen. It was the spirit
which killed your wife, determined to kill that spirit your son rushed
to the town. Asking for your aid…you looked down, lacking the skill
and the confidence you once had, and cried. Your son left on such a
note…
A day passed, your son has not returned, your begin to fear for
him–memories of your dead wife resurface, particularly the day of her
death. You look up an see your sword and shield, and make the vow to
never live the way you have been for years. You come out of retirement
and begin your journey in search of your son, hoping for his life. Top

Areas
Mti Region is a forest like environment that will only have 2 dungeons,
if you count the small crypt path as a separate dungeon, since it’ll
use another tileset. The players journey will begin at his home, and
follow the story onto Area 2. As you can see I want to create multiple
paths that follow the same storyline. The secret paths will be hard to
find because I intend the Underground Cavern to be quite large. Every
Area will have a boss. Top
Abyss of the Forgotten
Abyss of the Forgotten, is a quick mod that would basically try to use everything available on the tools.
Following the Events of the Torchlight Main Quest, our hero is
selected to be a part of a “Challenge” where he will face everything
that haunted his past, and things his future may hold…Including the
horrors of his descendants.
Things that will probably be in it:
- A extensive underground Arena comprised of 20+ Floors, each of which will implore a different task.
- Attempt to do complex puzzles if possible.
- Time Based Survival Rooms, with mobs respawning at increased rate/difficulty in certain time intervals.
- A New Classes
- Gonna try and make a Necro-Destroyer
- Gonna try a Paladin(Holy-Destroyer)
- Gonna try a Belmont Class
- Gonna try a Pure Summoner
- New Particles for existing skills as a test of the particle system.
- Maze-like Floors, multi-leveled(floors within the floors), if I can make a maze like that I can make any level in the future :P.
- New items
- Escape Situations, mobs that are unstoppable, only way to win is to find a way out.
- Example – Trapped in a room with a fairly slow mob that has 1-2 hit killshots, with the only escape being a puzzle.
- My combat triggers idea converted into a single player mode.
- Fight Small Bosses(faster moving type bosses)
- Fight a Level 40 Destroyer
- Fight a Level 40 Alchemist
- Fight a Level 40 Unrevealed
- Fight my custom Classes
- and more…really depends on the flexibility of the tools.
